Our Process
-
1. Initial Contact
When you first contact us via phone call, text, email, or social media everyone will be directed to our “Contact” page here on our website. Please fill out the form to the best of your ability. We use this method to help us stay organized as well as see if we are a good fit for your project.
-
2. Review
We will review your submitted form from our “Contact” page and reach back out to you as soon as we can. During this waiting period we like to suggest that you do some light research, online, and find photos of what you “like” or “must haves”. Save those photos to share with us. This helps us to see your vision/style that is specific to you.
-
3. Consultation
Next, we will schedule an initial consultation with you. During this meeting, we will:
- Listen closely to understand your landscape vision.
- Tour your property, asking questions and taking notes.
- Offer creative ideas and options based on our experience, while considering your budget.
- Provide ballpark estimates for the ideas discussed to ensure we align on budget and vision.
- Brainstorm collaboratively, imagining possibilities and bringing your landscape dreams into focus.
-
4. Design
After discussing project details, estimated costs, and your budget, we will create a 2D or 3D preliminary design for projects over $10,000. This initial design phase, which we charge for, covers the time needed to take measurements, calculate grade changes, and obtain price quotes and material quantities to prepare an accurate proposal. For smaller projects under $10,000, we may skip the preliminary design phase and move directly to a proposal based on our initial conversations.
-
5. Sign/Deposit
Once you have approved and signed either our design proposal or just the proposal, you will need to send us the deposit to secure the job. Upon receiving the deposit, we will add you to our client list.
-
6. Install
Projects vary in duration. We focus on one project at a time. Our installation hours are 8am to 4:30pm typically. Deliveries of materials like pallets, gravel, boulders, and soil may be necessary, as well as large equipment, and we will properly dispose of unused material as well as make any repairs to lawn if needed. We strive to leave your property in better condition than when we arrived. Clients often request additions or modifications during a project. Any pricing changes due to these will be outlined in a change order requiring your signature. Payment is due upon completion of the final walkthrough.
